Following the results of research carried out by Jeremy Vanes, funded by Wolverhampton Network Consortium in 2002, the network was set up in 2003.
The aim was to make a positive difference to the LGBT community in Wolverhampton.
The LGBT Network Wolverhampton is currently funded by a variety of funding streams, including Wolverhampton City Council.
Based in the City Centre, offering a variety of services, supported by a great team of volunteers, we support local LGB and T individuals and groups.
LGBT Network Wolverhampton also organises a variety of events, including Wolverhampton Pride, training, workshops and more.
Our vision is a thriving, diverse lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans community in Wolverhampton – a place where LGB and T people feel safe and are free from discrimination.
