Diamonds is a social self-help group, based in Cambridge (UK), for transgendered people, transsexuals, transvestites, crossdressers, their friends and partners. The group has been going for almost 15 successful years, from its roots at the Town & Gown.
The group is open to anyone with an interest in transgender issues, and who is resident in or visiting Cambridgeshire, or willing to travel from further afield in East Anglia.
Our members are varied, ranging from the shy occasional dresser to those who have transitioned or live full-time in their preferred gender. Everyone is welcome and there are no membership fees.
We hold regular meetings at The Boathouse public house Chesterton Road, Cambridge. There's a music/dance night on Wednesday, and a social meeting on Thursday. Both meetings are 8-11pm.
